With the impeding weather for this weekend, we have to make some adjustments.

For the Powerleague events on Saturday, all playoff matches will be shortened to 1 set to 25 points, starting at 0-0. That way we should be able to get everybody done before 5 pm. This affects the Powerleague Qualifiers for the 12’s, 14’s and 17’s division and the Pre-Qualifier for the 15’s division.

In communication with the facilities, we have decided to cancel the HOA office run tournaments on Sunday. This affects the Premier and Select Series at the Davies Volleyball complex (these teams will receive a refund of their entry fee) and the Powerleague events scheduled at New Century Fieldhouse and the Sports Pavilion in Lawrence

For the 13’s and 18’s Powerleague Qualifiers and the 16’s pre-qualifier, alternative schedules have been created and will be posted on the respective Powerleague pages of our website. All teams that have registered will advance to the next scheduled round of play. This creates some scheduling challenges, but we are making it work, so no team is eliminated from a Powerleague without getting a chance to play. Refunds will be processed once all Powerleague qualifying events are completed.

These decisions apply to events that are run by the HOA office only. As conditions and circumstances can vastly differ throughout the region, it is up to individual tournament directors to decide how they will handle their events.
