Seeding

Due to this event being so early in the season, seeding is a little bit difficult. We seed the Heart of America teams mainly based on last years performance with few modifications for the current season. Out of region teams are spread over the pools and put in the second and third line of teams. The goal is not to predict the outcome of the tournament, but to have somewhat balanced pools. With over 700 teams participating, we cannot use tournaments from the previous weekend.

The 18 Open and USA divisions are seeded by the USA Volleyball national seeding committee. 18 Liberty and 18 American are mainly seeded based on previous year information for the teams.
